Upfront User Triage is what I call my 'research baby'. I have seen this concept through from concept testing to iterative testing on every little element of this tool. This project is ongoing and made up of many little projects so this is not a finalized case study, but rather a journey I'm excited to share as it develops. With that in mind, I will update this case study as the project progresses.

As the new Troubleshoot and Assist portfolio lead, this was one of my first projects in the new role and it was definitely an excited one as well. This was my first ever tree test (of many, many more), so needless to say this was an exciting experience and a large jump outside of the rapid research format I was used to. Evidently, this also had a huge impact on the structure of the 'More' menu in the MyVerizon App.

At Verizon I have conducted research with cognitive disability, blind, low-vision, and colorblind users to exceed basic accessibility compliance and exceed customer expectations. In this study, I worked with cognitive disability, blind, low-vision users to assess the usability of the Face ID and Passkey set-up flow for the MyVerizon App.

At times not very many projects were submitted to the rapid research team, so I partnered with other rapid researchers to create training documentation to help the greater UX research team learn the basics of platforms utilized within the UX research team such as UserTesting, UserZoom, Fable, Airtable, and Miro

With all the buzz around Artificial Intelligence, I began to wonder how AI currently has an impact and will have an impact on user experience research. I approached my immediate supervisor to see if the Verizon UX research team have considered the implications of AI in our field. This inquiry lead to discover research on what AI is and how it could be implemented into Verizon's research practices.
