The +Protect portfolio comprises three categories of products: Device Protection and Insurance, Information Security, and Digital Family Safety. The aim of this project is to gain a deeper understanding of the +Protect user base in order to enhance the overall user experience and explore the possibility of streamlining some of the +Protect products.

I had the honor of working with the head of Accessibility User Research at Verizon, conducting research with screen reader, screen magnification, and colorblind users to exceed basic accessibility compliance and exceed customer expectations.

The majority of studies I conducted where live tests through UserTesting, UserZoom, and Fable. These studies were requested from multiple research portfolio leads comprising of 1-2 research objectives each study.

During my time at Verizon, the rapid research team began offering unmoderated tests in addition to live test. I was one of the first rapid researchers to conduct some of these first few unmoderated studies, which undoubtedly came with its challenges and successes.

At times not very many projects were submitted to the rapid research team, so I partnered with other rapid researchers to create training documentation to help the greater UX research team learn the basics of platforms utilized within the UX research team such as UserTesting, UserZoom, Fable, Airtable, and Miro

With all the buzz around Artificial Intelligence, I began to wonder how AI currently has an impact and will have an impact on user experience research. I approached my immediate supervisor to see if the Verizon UX research team have considered the implications of AI in our field. This inquiry lead to discover research on what AI is and how it could be implemented into Verizon's research practices.
